SW Global Resourcing (SWGR) operates from several service centres throughout the UK and worldwide, these service centres are managed from their purpose built HQ in Glasgow.
SWGR provides temporary labour solutions, permanent recruitment and contracted services in the Rail, Engineering, Civil and Building industrial sectors.
SWGR wanted me to develop a website that would act as a main point of reference for both prospective employees and clients.
The website was built in PHP, with no content management system in place at this time.
It integrates the Evolve recruitment database at a very basic level via an iframe (the contents of which are controlled by Evolve).
The website also makes use of a Google business search engine that ties into Google Analytics web tracking.
The new website launched in the last quarter of 2008 and has been well received. Analytics reports a monthly increase in visitors by a massive 95% following the launch.
